UCAS - Corporate Balance Scorecard
UCAS is the organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK. It processes more than two million applications for full-time undergraduate courses every year and provides innovative online tools which make it easier for students, universities and colleges s to manage applications and offers.
UCAS is committed to providing an efficient, high quality admissions/applications system to help students make informed choices and guiding them, their parents and advisers through the application process. To assist in this process, The Accord Partnership was asked to help UCAS in its development of a Corporate Balanced Scorecard to measure and assess performance across a number of key strategic objectives.
The Accord Partnership highlighted key objectives that related to UCAS's business aims and held a number of workshops to determine how these would be measured. It then aided the development of a simple, easy to use, scorecard that was linked to every individual objective.
